Embassy Studios’ Multi-Room, World-Class Recording and Mixing Complex Opens in the Heart of Manhattan
New Midtown facility combines hybrid production workflows, large-format analog consoles, and networked audio infrastructure to support modern recording, mixing, and immersive audio production
New York, NY, April 28, 2026– Embassy Studios, a new professional recording facility located in Midtown Manhattan’s historic Engineering Building, has officially opened, introducing a multi-room studio environment designed around hybrid production workflows, networked audio infrastructure, and immersive mixing capabilities.

Purpose-built for contemporary music production, post-production, and content creation, Embassy Studios departs from traditional single-room studio models by enabling simultaneous, interconnected workflows across multiple studios and production spaces. The facility supports tracking, mixing, mastering, Dolby Atmos production, and remote collaboration, all integrated through a centralized Dante-enabled network.
“Embassy Studios was designed as a modern recording hub, delivering uncompromising sound quality for music, voiceover, film, and television, while providing a fully integrated infrastructure that supports both creative execution and operational workflows,” said Chief Operating Officer Vanessa Sanchez.

Acoustic Performance Meets Modern Studio Architecture
Embassy Studios was developed with a focus on acoustic accuracy, monitoring consistency, and long-session usability, combining traditional isolation principles with open architectural design. The rooms feature 20-foot ceilings, natural light, and carefully tuned acoustic environments, offering an alternative to conventional enclosed studio builds while maintaining professional isolation and performance standards.
The facility was designed in collaboration with CS Scott (construction), MAOarch (architecture), and interior designer Lisa Babar, preserving the structural character of the historic Engineering Building while implementing advanced acoustic treatment and isolation techniques required for critical listening environments.

Hybrid Workflow Infrastructure and Networked Audio
At the core of Embassy Studios is a facility-wide Dante-based audio network, enabling real-time routing between studios, production rooms, and multimedia spaces. This infrastructure supports:
- Multi-room recording and writing sessions
- Hybrid analog/digital workflows
- Remote collaboration and live content capture
- Scalable session configurations without manual repatching
The system allows engineers and producers to move seamlessly between rooms while maintaining consistent signal flow and monitoring references.

Control Rooms and Technical Specifications
Studio A1 features dual Solid State Logic consoles — an SSL ORIGIN 32-channel analog console and an SSL AWS 948 with Delta-Control integration, alongside Avid HDX systems, Apogee Symphony I/O, and extensive analog outboard from Manley, Neve, API, Universal Audio, and Empirical Labs. Midfield monitoring across rooms is powered by custom Augspurger monitoring systems, with nearfields from ATC, Focal, and PMC, ensuring a seamless translation from stereo to immersive mixing environments.
Studio A2 offers next-generation audio capture and mixing capabilities centered around the acclaimed SSL AWS 948 console. With its Duo 15” Augspurger speakers and 18” subwoofer system, Studio A2 is ideal for detailed mixing and tracking sessions. A generously sized live room and vocal booth are equipped to handle everything from full drum kits to choirs and acoustic ensembles, all supported by high-end preamps and outboard gear that balance analog warmth with modern flexibility.

Studio B1 houses an SSL Matrix2 Delta console paired with premium outboard compressors, EQs, and monitoring to support precision mixing and sound design. This suite’s compact yet powerful setup is perfect for focused tracking, detailed post-production, and hybrid music production workflows. Augspurger Solo 12 monitors with Sub 18 integration ensure accurate low-end response, making B1 a go-to space for nuanced creative work.
Studio B2 is centered on a SSL Matrix2 Delta console and Augspurger monitors, along with a pair of Focal Solo6. Studio B2 features a dedicated iso booth, making it perfect for capturing vocal or other instrument overdubs, or for facilitating edits and other detailed production work. In addition to its SSL and Augspurger foundation, the studio also features Neve compressors, SSL EQ and a suite of powerful plug-ins from Waves, McDSP and more.

The Multimedia Room reflects Embassy’s commitment to supporting content beyond music. With high ceilings and panoramic views of the Empire State Building, this versatile space accommodates press interviews, podcast recordings, live streaming, and creative video sessions. Equipped with Bird Dog PTZ cameras, NewTek Tricaster Mini, professional mics including the Shure SM7B, and streaming-ready workflows, it’s ideal for multimedia production and promotional content capture.
Embassy’s Dolby Atmos room supports advanced immersive audio workflows through a highly accurate 7.1.4 configuration featuring PMC monitors. This environment enables producers, mixers, and artists to work in spatial audio formats that are increasingly central to contemporary releases, film, and interactive media.

In addition to primary recording rooms, Embassy offers dedicated production suites and a podcast room optimized for creative production, writing sessions, voiceovers, and content capture. These spaces also provide integrated Dante connectivity, flexible routing, and integrated video capture tools designed to streamline collaboration and documentation.
